In the Edo period, Hizen Arita produced large quantities of blue-and-white porcelain, which was exported to Europe. Fuyode was very popular in Europe. Fuyoude” is a design of underglaze blue porcelain produced in the Jingdezhen private kilns in the late Ming Dynasty and copied in Hizen Arita.
The Fuyoude design, which fascinated European royalty and aristocrats at the time, has been rearranged in a modern style.
Rectangular in shape with a raised mouth rim. Its easy-to-use size makes it ideal for cooking and desserts.
