The surface of the black rust SHIBORI is made of minerals to give it a metal-like texture, and repeated changes in the kiln at 1,300°C give the surface an uneven surface, a black matte color like that of a hardened piece, or a red rust color.
This is a one-of-a-kind, YOUHEN, accidental coloring, product whose expression is affected by changes in temperature and other factors.
